8 Artists and Bands Inducted into the Hall of Fame
(FRISCO, Tx.) Jan. 1, 2010— For the fourth consecutive year, the Christian Music Hall of Fame has announced their inductees into the Hall of Fame. This year’s inductions include a very mixed group of individuals and bands which cover a wide range of Christian music.
The inductions consist of Babbie Mason, Bloodgood, Bruce Carroll, the Newsboys, Randy Stonehill, Steve Green, Third Day and Whiteheart.
“We believe these artists are most deserving to be recognized for their outstanding contributions to not only Christian music, but for their ministries as well,” states Andy Woolard, Director of Operations for the Christian Music Hall of Fame. “We are excited to pay tribute to the great careers these artists have had and those who continue to encourage others with their music and ministries.”
The inducted artists will be formally recognized during the 3rd annual Visionary Awards show to be held in the Dallas, Tx area on November 6, 2010. The Visionary Awards are an annual event highlighting the top talent in a variety of genres of Christian music.
“This year’s show will not only feature the awards presentations, but there will be lots of music from a variety of artists, comedy and much more,” adds Woolard. “This will be a great night of music, laughter and fellowship. We already have confirmation from Babbie Mason and Bruce Carroll that they will both be attending the show. We have many more plans for a great show and will keep fans updated on our website.”

Christian Music Hall of Fame launches 1,000,000 Supporter Campaign
In an effort to raise awareness and funding, the Christian Music Hall of Fame and Museum has launched a campaign where they hope to get one million supporters in as short a time as possible.
" We want people to know we are here and when we do, we believe we’ll get the necessary funding to build a museum dedicated to God by honoring those who sing Christian music worldwide,” states Andy Woolard, Director of Operations for the charity. Photo: Christian Music Hall of Fame and Museum
The Christian Music Hall of Fame is working to get a million people and businesses to show their support by going to their web site and adding their name to the list. The charity is offering to give their supporters a space on their official supporter page of the web site a picture or logo, a link to the site of the supporter’s choice and up to 25 words. The cost for this is a donation of only $1 or more. Woolard adds, “We wanted to give something for the donation. We felt a need to give our supporters something to make their donation worthwhile. To get this kind of advertising or promotion for only a dollar makes it much more than a donation. It’s as much about building awareness of the charity as is it about fund raising.”
Getting the million supporters will be a milestone for this relatively new charity which began officially in 2006. They had an official induction awards show last year and are currently working on their second show slated for November 14, 2009. They are also introducing the Visionary Awards which will honor 21 categories. Some of the artists who have already committed to be in attendance include Pat Boone, David Meece, Al Denson, Barbara Fairchild, Michael English, Crystal Gayle and many others.
To view their million supporter campaign, simply go to their web site at www.hallmuseum.com. The information about the million supporter campaign can be found at www.hallmuseum.com/support.htm.
